Hi guys! Just wanna show you something cute. Hehe

It's Yeeing in cartoon ! lol.

It's ok if you say I'm not cute la, but the cartoon version of me is definitely cute ok! Can you imagine how will you look like in cartoon version? (don't use phone application which cartoonized your picture la, talk about real drawing) You know how they say there is no ugly cartoon, I wish I'm staying in cartoon world. Kidding. Anyways I'm cute la.

AND IT IS A BIG DEAL BECAUSE IT'S DRAWN BY A HUMAN. Ok I think a person who can draw digitally is a big deal for me. T.T I can only draw on paper with my coloured pens. Oh! and also on my phone #drawsomething , play with me please; username : yeeingng.

Ok back to story, it's drawn by my friend Ernest from Bro, don't like that la, bro. if you do not know this famous guy yet.

Just realize I don't have a proper picture with him, but anyways he is the one in red shirt and have the same face expression forever in every picture. You gotta check out his site because he draw almost everything that happened in his daily life, even his bros and friends!

You know what, I'm showing you this because you too can get him to draw you something! My definition of Sushi

I went to Sunway Lagoon last few weeks!

And.... I did not play most of the rides, because it's scary. Yes.

It's an amusement park by the way, if you do not know what Sunway Lagoon is. hehehe!

So I spend most of my time in the water park for the water games. No pictures because I don't have a waterproof camera ! T__T I remember the last time I've been there.. is when I was 14 ! Omg.

I was so much braver 6 years back.

Had Sushi Zanmai for dinner after that and it has became something that changed my life forever.

I hate sushi for my past 19 years because I always thought sushi = raw(yes I HATE RAW FOOD!).

And in my mind, all sushi looked like this :

Oh god what am I thinking in my past life.

But NO! These are SUSHI!

I had Sushi King last few years, and that's the reason why I don't like sushi lol self-explanatory. Until someone force me to have Sushi Zanmai although I reject sushi for a thousand time due to my stereotype towards all sushi.

Hahahahahaahahahahaahahahahahahahahaahahaha. I don't know if I'm the only one who thinks like that but if you're one of the people out there who think all sushi are ugly and raw, give Sushi Zanmai a try.

Penang ; Day 2

Rise and Shine. Best feeling ever ; to wake up beside your loved one with beautiful view that lies in front of your eyes.

Kidding. Hahaha.I will get bored of this very very soon. The view from the window I meant. I prefer beach/mountain view lol. But this is not bad. Look ! We are very high up.. approx 31 floors above and I saw mountain !

I love hotel breakfast very much because they have.......

Went swimming after that in the tiny pool on the rooftop. Very hot weather but the water is so cold !

I like the pool cause I can see the beach from the pool and imagine I'm swimming in the beach. wtf #selfsatisfaction level 99.

Okay so since yesterday we missed the famous Penang cendol (because it was closed when we arrive T__T) so today die die must go get it again. I heard they say it's very famous. Indeed, by looking at the amount of people lining up for their cendol on a hot hot day without table/chairs/umbrella etc.

Located at : Kweng Kwee Street,Penang Road. There are 2 stalls, look for the one with the most customers crowding it.

Very yummy !

The beach by Gurney Drive. Pretty but I cannot step inside! >;(

Went for lunch after that and I had the WORST LUNCH ever in Penang.

The restaurant is called Song River Cafe in Gurney Drive. It's famous for their Char Koay Teow (but only at night!) If you go there during lunch time, you will not get any Char Koay Teow ! We ordered 2 dishes and rice(but the rice didn't come lol) and the worker there is so rude and is gonna con tourist money .

Look at this! Look like shit seriously and even my dad can cook better!
But I still can swallow it at least.

Yeap. Like this. Two dish , and WE DID NOT GET RICE although we ordered rice = RM50. I say they're rude because they NEVER LOOK AT YOU when you wave your hand / call them , they will just ignore you!

#1. Waved/called the worker to ask for our rice which did not come, but they ignored our hand! So okay, we thought it's alright la cause we want to leave asap for other hawker foods.

#2. Waved at them for bill. They are so ignorant! I really wanna just go off . Then they came finally.

#3. Charged RM 50 for two not-so-delicious dish without rice. They just gave a bill which they wrote in ugly chinese words which cannot be read and take the money away quickly. And they ignored my wave again when I wanna ask them about why they charged me rice money and some extra money for something written in ugly Chinese words.

I'm tired with all their bullshit so I just left the restaurant before I get high blood pressure and flip their table like this :

So my lovely readers, go to their restaurant for Char Koay Teow ONLY ( only at night).

Penang is indeed a food heaven. But not every food you see by the roadside is nice. I think the best way to indicate whether their food is edible or not is to see the amount of customer crowding the restaurant. Heh !

Yay! I went to a temple full of lights on my first night in Penang . It's called the Kek Lok Si temple.

I never like to visit places like this (museum, prime minister's house, caves, ... ) especially TEMPLE ! But this one is totally different. It's like the most beautiful temple I've ever seen wtf. So much nicer than I-city in Shah Alam lol.

Seriously, I wonder how they do these.

Hiayak ! Want to get up there but the whole place is like a maze. Didn't get to go up up up there in the end.

To replicate the same atmosphere and set up of Future Music Festival in Australia, there will be four stages to entertain the thousands of patrons expected to attend the party. I've been with Nuffnang for about 3 years already! (But only actively involve in events a year back)
This time, Nuffnang hosted the event at Neverland Club (behind Borneo Baruk Club/behind Pavilion). Pretty name isn't it? It's my first time to Neverland Club and I didn't know it's under 21 ! This will be the second club I got bounced. Hahaha.

And everyone is in BLUE ! With Jiayeen here.

Everywhere was filled with blue balloons, ribbons and everything perfect to celebrate Nuffnang turning 5 years old. I must say the club is really beautiful. To bad I'm still underage (and the bouncer is really strict!) or else I think I'll visit them again soon.

Penang ; Day 1

Had breakfast in the middle of highway before moving our way to Penang.

So here it is! Did I mentioned I went to Penang because I've never been there before T__T and partly because of Valentine's?

This will be my Day 1 in Penang. Wtf actually I just went for 2 days only lah so I don't see the need to tell you it's Day 1. You get what I mean right. AND, please go for more than 2 days if you want to play and enjoy to the max or else you'll be dead tired like sleeping at 11pm WHICH people like you and me don't usually do. If you get what I mean again.

Tada ! Brought the super huge bottle I got from Carlsberg party because I sked I dehydrate in the car.

And... I'm anticipating for the moment to be on the Penang Bridge *excited ! (jacoon)

Must take lots of pictures when I'm on the bridge, hoping Final Destination scene will not happen wtf.

I think it's very beautiful. But people always say people won't appreciate the things they see everyday. Thank God I can't see Penang Bridge everyday.

We then head to get our proper breakfast,- Dim Sum !

So according to the research he has done, this dim sum place offers super delicious and cheap dim sum. It's called Zhi Jia Dim Sum (direct translate from mandarin). So you can cry for not knowing how to read chinese now. T__T

So I had the most stressful weeks of assignments and tests in college these days. Definitely need solution to release all the stress! T_T

Recently I've found one pretty cool place to dine and chill called Paradiso Cine Lounge. Perfect spot for spending quality time with your loved ones! So quaint ambiance. And they play really inspiring videos/movies on the projectors.

Went there with all these awesome people I love.

Valentine's 2012

It's a day filled with adrenaline love, joy, pinks, and satisfaction. Hey, shouldn't that be how we feel everyday? ;) Anyhow, Happy Valentine's Day to all (or rather, happy haram-day wtf*inside joke).

I know it's belated but this is a flashback hahaha.

I never think Valentine's day is extra special compared to the other days. My favourite festive is still Christmas and my birthday. Hehehehehe.

Maybe it's a day to remind us about how much we love each other (if we ever forget in the future) and how we should appreciate what we have now, to count blessings instead of whining and complaining about what others have and what we don't have. For the singles out there, Valentine's is meant for everyone, because its not just a day to show love to your boyfriend/girlfriend, but to anyone you LOVE including your family.

I don't really 'publicize' him all over, due to insecurities and doubts and etc etc.

Trust me, I don't trust my own feelings.

5 months. He's full with ego-ness, never say sorry D: , and sometimes bitchier than me. I can never hate him more than 48 hours. He's not romantic. Okay, we're both not romantic. But he can cook better than me. He stay very far from me yet still able to make me see him almost every day.

He just want me to trust him. And I'm on my way.

To make this less emotional, here's my version of Valentine's.

We went there 3 days before Valentine's because its better to have getaways during weekends. We only stayed a night because I have classes and he have to work on the following day as well. T_T

I always love his phone camera. It make things look extra nice. HAHA

So since Valentine's falls on a week day, I guess the best place to chill is his place. Don't wanna be a sardine fish in the mall after cheongK sessions. Mehh.

My hometown in Negeri Sembilan is very very very very hot with no entertainment. Even staying in the car feels so much more comfortable. We decided to head to Port Dickson to see what can we do there.
And we pass by this popular chicken curry pau or whatever you call it! It's Lucky King Bun located in a restaurant by the road when we're on the way to Port Dickson.

Hi guys!

Watched 'War Horse' in TGV Sunway Pyramid yesterday courtesy of Ffk and Ryan. It was such a great movie I can say since my par standard for movies has gone so low ever since Chronicles and StarWars homaigottt. War Horse is directed by Steven Spielberg, the same director who directed E.T and Jurassic Park. War Horse is good, make people think a little, although slightly draggy it's a freaking 146 minutes. Give it a 7/10 !

Anyways, back to what I'm supposed to blog about, which is actually nothing I'm SUPPOSED TO. -.-. Yay! Not an advert post this time. Just blog because I feel like and this time I can blast more words straight from my mind into your face for you to read, if not, skip to look at pictures.

I'm going to Penang tomorrow YAY for the first time in my life I think. Kill me. Just in case I don't know what to do in Penang, tell me what is a MUST-DO in Penang you lovely Penang-ites or if you've been to Penang before.

I went to Ipoh and Negeri Sembilan for my Chinese New Year. In fact, that's what I did every CNY and I guess we just stick to what we used to do. Maybe I'll try something different next year, like disappearing into somewhere further during the CNY period. Talk about making things different, my CNY this year was rather... not so much the same, because of the company who made everything feel better. (♥_♥)

We made our move early morning on the '30th night' (er direct translation), you know, the reunion night. Since we depart around 5am with not much cars, we arrived Ipoh in just 1.5 hour from KL, and I'm still alive! Hehehee.

My grandmother in Ipoh (Dad's side) , is still the same old face. I think its us who are changing. She even admit that I am so ugly the last time she saw me wtf popo :( (which apparently I only visit Ipoh once a year). All relative with the same old line "Yingggg so big girl already, so prettyyyy." Maybe that's how old people talk to get our attention, or I'm really very very fucking ugly before this wtf.

To be honest, I feel excited every time when I know I'm going to Ipoh. But it turn out really frustrating when each restaurant you want to go is CLOSED because it's a freaking CNY, bitch please. It's like telling you right in the face, "Cny period is not the best time to travel and eat famous food that are written by famous bloggers, stupid". But then again, the good thing during Cny is all about homecooked food that are prepared by the old ones. Yum yum yum !

That's our first night in Ipoh. Meet up with Zoey Lai that night cause her hometown happens to be in Ipoh too! It's like all the Chinese come from Ipoh -.-) Was searching for nightlife spots but err... okay, we end up in Euro House, not too bad. It's the company that matters!

I'm in love with Savanna dry beer!

Not really a beer person because beer have too much gas and it makes me feel fat. But this one is different. Taste so perfectly that the three of us down two buckets with some weird game. The game is a make-the-girl-go-drunk game. Seriously, never felt so tipsy in my life before after this one on my last birthday. So that ends a good night!

The next day was self-explanatory. All the stoning and feelin' like mehhh thanks to Savanna. This was the time when we're so frustrated cause every restaurant was closed ! Ahhh, it was the first day of Cny.
Don't feel like visiting any castle or caves cause the weather was melting everything ! Literally. My makeup pouch cannot be in the car.. or else.... !!!!!!!!!!!!

And I can't believe we went to Jusco two days in a row because it is the best place to hide from the sun in the afternoon. Watched The Viral Factor which made my cry (Rate : 8/10) Omg did we just went to Ipoh for movie? zzz. I seriously don't know what to do in Ipoh other than staring at my popo making pork balls wtf. To sum it up, the best things will be the angpaus.

I love her pork balls
although it look weird but it taste just perfect for me.

Because its so boring like that, I'm sorry popo I need to go back to KL. 0_0 Yeap, just a night in Ipoh and back to KL the next night.

And it does not end there! Arrive KL around 2am and I don't know where's my house key .

T.T I HATE YOU !!! :'( Slept ~~by the roadside~~ at his place and the next thing we know, we're heading to Negeri Sembilan (Mum's side) !

Yay yay yay yay got air-cond and lots of dogs for me to play. Grandma force us to eat so much again !
Why why why do we look like we're having anorexia. Ohppp, I forgotten that the 2nd most popular line by old people after "You're so prettyyyy!", is "Eat this! Eat that! Eat a bit lah, eat eat eat !". Don't we hate how those nagging voices around our ears always feels right somehow. What a love-hate. Hehehe.

At night, we have fireworks right above our head by my uncle! He love buying fire crackers. It's so beautiful and I didn't record it.

Personal Opinion : To be honestly, I did fall asleep for a few minutes. If you haven watch any of Star Wars yet, maybe you should give a try. Everything is worth a try no? I think this is more of a guy thing, just like how guys hate twilight. I like the part with the little boy in it. He made the whole movie less boring. I would rate it 3.5/10. AND. Why must it be in 3D? Ishhh.

I know nothing about cars...but at least I try to act like I know about cars. BUT I LOVE cars because I watch Transformers lol. I mean, who doesn't like to see beautiful sexy things?

So when I get to know that I have a chance to attend the Chevrolet Defensive Driving Course with the Malaysia's Hottest Bloggers friends, I'm uber happy like mad. First is because TRANSFORMERS uses Chevrolet car u know?Hahahahahahahahhahaaa. Second is because.. Now I can finally know *at least something about cars.

Before I tell you more about the course, please watch this video featuring us girls with the Chevy baby! Hahahaha cannot laugh okay.

Why is the course called DEFENSIVE Driving ? I know you know most of us like to speed. We drive #likeaboss on the road although we know it's unethical ! That is why accident rate is always increasing! One way to reduce accidents and increase our chance of survival in an accident is to know how to DEFEND.

Yes, we cannot avoid accidents but we can learn to DEFEND. That's what we girls learned throughout the course!

We started of our morning with some breakfast and theory sessions by Kevin Low, an instructor from AADA. Ohhh, all our instructors that day are racers. How cool is that! I always have a thing with racers.

So I'll try to list as many theories that I can remember for you! (I have short term memory loss lol)

What is defensive driving? Defensive driving is learning how to avoid the risk caused by other road users.

Khusyuknyaaa (concentrate maximum)

That's right. Sometimes being a careful/cautious driver cannot guarantee you safe from all accidents. What if the dangers are caused by other drivers (drunk drivers for example) ? We should be aware of the rising road accidents and death. Check the statistics click here .

Proper sitting position when driving. A good sitting posture can save one's life during accident!

Seat belts, airbags, and other safety devices in the car. One should know well about one's own car. *gulp* Don't look down on the importance of putting on seat belts! I know its fussy, even me don't put on seat belts when I'm not driving BUT after watching the videos by the instructor... I find that putting on seat belts can make so much difference IF an accident take place. I'll wear seat belts every time now. *guilty*

Hazards, reaction and following distance (2 second gap between car in front, etc. etc.) The 2 second gap is something like... do not follow a car too near so that we can avoid IF an accident happen. Here's Kevin demonstrating a simple example on the 2 second gap theory with Linora's help.

Alright! So after the theory session to ensure we have some knowledge of cars, we're allowed to have our hands on the precious baby Chevrolet (s) !

Before we start riding on the Chevolet Cruze, we need to know about vehicle maintenance too!

Instructor taught us about how to check water and fluid levels, tyre inflation, battery, engine and oil changes, inspection of lights, and belt checks. Aaaaaahhhhhhhh ! So many things to remember!

See! More complicated than a human brain. Which one is engine, which is battery?

Importance of proper maintenance ; Keeping your car well maintained is the key to preventing breakdowns in dangerous areas.

The instructor is so funny. He say that GIRLS should either learn how to maintain a car OR get a boyfriend who knows how to maintain a car. Lol. I guess I know which is easier.

By the way, I must say I really like the interior of the Chevrolet Cruze! It's so sporty and stylish. Because we will be spending a lot of time in the car so we'll want to make sure we're comfortable with the way it looks and feels!

So, our practical lesson of the day was..

1. Push-pull steering

Means the way we hold the steering when driving should be like the picture below....

(Both hands should not cross each other but that is what we all do without realizing. fol T__T)

We need to drive left-right-left-right without hitting the cone
but obviously you can see that we hit the cone already T.T

You must be thinking what's so hard to turn left and right lah. The hard part was actually to make sure our hands did not cross ! Aaaaaahh!

2. Emergency braking accident avoidance (ABS braking / collision avoidance)

This is very exciting ! We learn how to avoid things (for eg : a cat / dog / mouse / human ) on the road when we are on high speed to avoid accident. Here, we need to go on full trottle and then brake suddenly when the instructor say "NOW!". Omg thrilling maximum, we must have fast reaction.

Sudden brake. Scary at first but then addictive on the second.

*Chevrolet Cruze is equipped with 4-wheel disk brakes with Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Brake Assist, and Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD) which helps to stop the car in a shorter distance while allowing the driver to maneuver away from a collision.

3. Skid control

Many times the cause of an accident is because of being panic >> brake >> loose control over the car. No blame because it's our natural reaction to BRAKE whenever we are PANIC right? Do you know that BRAKing can actually worsen conditions? Skids occur in accidents are usually the result of last minute action by the driver when faced with a crisis ahead.

So here, we are put into the danger of skids... (just kidding) and learn how to CONTROL the skid itself.

We must learn how to control our fear right? We girls are like "OMG!" when we saw the instructor poured oil all over the road(to cause skid). A lot of spinning involved like what you see in the movies wtf. This skill is very important!

*Chevrolet Cruze’s ‘Electronic Stability Control’ and ‘Traction Control’ were turned OFF to enable the car to skid (so we could learn how to control a skid).

There goes our 3 very important practical lessons by Chevrolet. Some of us think its not enough and wanna try and skid again and again (maybe because its not our own car so we're more daring. Lol.)

our driving lol. Thank God no instructors get mad hahahahaha.

Bake a Dark Chocolate Mille Crepe cake!

Hi people!!! This is the long awaited post no?
People have been asking me for the recipe after they saw the picture I posted on my facebook :

Dark Chocolate Mille Crepe Cake. I'm a big fan of Mille Crepe !

Yes! This one! Looks yummy right, taste even better. This is called the Dark Chocolate Crepe Cake and I'm proud to say .. No we did not buy it from the store but WE MADE IT by ourselves ! Yes WE ; MelissaYang, MynnLee(RedFm), Wan Ting(SnowXwhite), and I had lots of fun although tiring. Hard work pays off ;)

Alright so let's get down to business ! Here I'm gonna show you step by step with pictures to assist your understanding. :) Put your aprons on now!

This is the RECIPE of Darkest Chocolate Crêpe Cake (serves 14-16, you can make it for birthdays or even Chinese New Year which is approaching ;) ) Just think simple, CREPE + FILLING = MILLE CREPE.
So basically you don't need to use oven ! You just need to make the crepe, then the filling !

For the Crêpes , (makes about 30-40 crepes)
You'll need :

1/4 cup water
3/4 cup (6 ounces) cold unsalted butter, cut into tablespoon-sized pieces
8 ounces semisweet chocolate, finely chopped
1 1/2 cups unbleached all-purpose flour
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon espresso powder
2 1/2 cups whole milk at room temperature
6 extra large eggs
1 Tablespoon pure vanilla extract

Get into action !

1. In a medium sauce pan, bring the water to a rolling boil over medium-high heat. Add the butter one piece at a time, whisking to combine after each addition. Remove from the heat and add the chocolate. Stir until completely smooth, set aside. (pictures above! Basically it's just melting the butter slowly :) )

2. In another medium bowl(for DRY ingredients), whisk together the flour, sugar, salt and espresso powder. In a separate bowl(for WET ingredients), whisk together the milk, eggs, and vanilla.

Gradually add the flour mixture to the milk mixture(mix both wet and dry ingredients), whisking until smooth.

Remember the chocolate mixture you mixed at the first step? Now gradually add in the chocolate mixture, whisking until smooth. Pour and press through a fine-mesh sieve; discard any lumps. Transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate overnight.

You can refrigerate it for at least one hour (if you're in a hurry!)

Alright ! Now that you've refrigerate your mixture overnight, you can take it out to cool and move to the next step, cooking the crepe! *excited

1. Lightly coat an 8-inch crepe pan or 10-inch non-stick skillet with melted butter and heat over medium heat; wipe out excess(only coat with butter ONCE - at the starting). Pour about 3 tablespoons of the overnight batter into the pan(equivalent to one icecream scoop if you have one), swirling to coat bottom.

2. Reduce the heat to medium-low and cook the crêpe. Flipping once until edges are golden and center is set, about 30-45 seconds per side(Don't worry about flipping, the crepe won't stick together! Just flip it using the utensils !). Transfer crepe to a sheet of waxed paper. Continue with remaining batter. Crêpes can be made and refrigerated for up to one week.

You know, like how the uncle in pasar malam make the crepes. . Hehe. And don't worry if your crepe break a little and have holes during flipping(like the picture above), because nobody will realize after you put the cream on. Haha!

I think Melissa did a very nice attempt for you guys to understand. So here it is!

So you just leave the crepes to cool down at the waxed paper and once its cold you can overlap them together to save space already. :)

Remember I said CREPE + FILLINGS = MILLE CREPE? You've done the crepe part so now this is the last part !
FOR THE FILLING (makes about 8 cups)
You'll need ..

2/3 cup heavy cream
6 extra large EGG WHITES
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
1 3/4 cups (14 ounces) unsalted butter, cut into tablespoon-sized pieces and softened
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1/3 cup Nutella
Pinch of kosher salt

In a medium bowl using a wire whisk or a hand held mixer, beat the cream until soft peaks form, about 3-5 minutes. Refrigerate until ready to use.

Lightly whisk egg whites and sugar together over simmering water until egg white mixture is hot to touch or a candy thermometer reads (60°C). Pour hot whites into a room-temperature bowl and whip with a wire whip until double in volume on MEDIUM-HIGH speed. When the mixer stops, the meringue should not move around in the bowl.

Meanwhile cut up butter into 2-inch pieces. (The butter should be slightly moist on the outside but cold inside.) On your mixer, remove the whip and attach the paddle. Add half the butter into the bowl immediately and pulsate the mixer several times until the meringue has covered the butter completely. To pulsate the mixer, turn it on and off in a jerky motion. This forces the butter on the top to the bottom of the bowl. Add the balance of the butter and pulsate mixer several times. Slowly increase the mixer's speed, starting with the lowest speed and increase the speed every 10 seconds until you reach a MEDIUM-HIGH speed.

Continue beating until the mixture begins to look light and fluffy. Stop the mixer and scrape the bowl. Reduce speed to LOW. Add flavoring and continue to beat on LOW speed for 45 seconds. Then beat on MEDIUM-HIGH speed for an additional 45 to 60 seconds. Using a rubber spatula, fold in the refrigerated whipped cream; use immediately.

Leftover butter cream can be placed in plastic containers with lids and kept in the freezer for up to 3 months. Defrost completely (several hours) and rewhip before using.

You can store the icing in an airtight container and freeze for up to 3 months!

Now you have the crepes and filling(cream) to really MAKE THE CAKE! This is the easiest part. :)
Let's just say we're just spreading the creams in between the crepes, just like how you spread butter on breads!

Place an 8-inch round of parchment paper over a wire rack set over a rimmed baking sheet . Place a crêpe on top of the parchment. Evenly spread about 3 tablespoons of filling on top of the crêpe. Top with another crêpe. Continue layering with filling and crepes, using about 32 crêpes and ending with a crêpe on top. Refrigerate until firm, at least one hour.

Tada! This is how your crepe cake should look like just before you cover it with the icing.

Wanna make your crepe cake look like this? Just top it with chocolate coating/icing !

You'll need..

1 1/4 cups heavy cream
1 Tablespoon light corn syrup
Pinch of kosher salt
10 ounces semisweet chocolate, finely chopped

Spoon 1/2 cup of the glaze on top of the cake, spreading to edges with off-set spatula. Spread remaining glaze around the sides of the cake, coating completely. Refrigerate until glaze is firm and set, about 30 minutes.

Cake can be refrigerated for up to 3 days.

Hi guys and girls, its already the 18th day of 2012! Are you guys following your New Year resolutions that you've listed down ? If not, start now! HERE I'm gonna tell you what I did on my New Year Eve with all of you (despite its already the 18th). Remember what I told you guys here(click) ?

Talk about countdown parties, the first thing that came into my mind would be jam JAM JAMMMM!

It's like the whole world is coming out from their house just to catch the fireworks. Sunway Pyramid? Bukit Bintang KL? Clubs? You know the jamming and squeezing better than me.

So this year, I've decided to party with the Malaysia's Hottest Bloggers girls at the Red Carpet Avenue, Encorp Strand in Kota Damansara. It's my first time having a countdown party there and it surprisingly IMPRESSED me even though I travel all the way from Subang to Damansara.

By the way if you don't know where's Encorp Strand, its actually located just beside Sunway Giza. Had Nyonya dinner before heading to the media area in Red Carpet Avenue. And I was wearing sweater T_T because I felt a little sick maybe I'm too hungry lol.

The lineup performers were Mizz Nina, Joe Flizzow, Pop Shuvit, Reza Salleh, Najwa Mahiaddin and Dennis Lau with his compatriot, Shawn Lee, while Barsonic’s resident DJ, Davern Koh aka HypeEmBeats and Jee Hoe of DJ collective Melee Punks. Such a long list of artists!

While we are partying and waiting to counting down to 2012, our host Megan and Julie introduced the 3D Projection Countdown, which broadcast-ed images onto giant screens. Google if you not yet know what is a 3D projection mapping! Its happening around the world and Encorp Strand is the first in Malaysia to have this kind of technology! So special that this have to be recorded down, therefore a video for you guys again!

So as the clock strikes 12, skies directly above ENCORP Strand were filled with multi-coloured fireworks, right above our head ! I really love fireworks that are this close to me !

CNY Menu @ West Lake Garden, Sunway Resort Hotel

Chinese New Year is approching... like in another 6 days! Well this is a must-do on every Chinese New Year celebration ; to get at least one good meal for you and your loved ones ! Here we found a very good deal which comes with delicious list of food to taste!

Last week, Emma, Jiayeen and I are invited to West Lake Garden, Sunway Resort Hotel to taste their CNY menu courtesy of MHB. They are now offering a variety of 4 types of CNY menus to choose from RM1188++ to RM2012++ for a table of 10 people.

I'm glad to have a chance to taste their package of RM1688++ CNY menu which is for a table of 10 people but we can't finish it all though cause the girls have small tank! Haha!
This menu is called the "Golden Dragon" ! Such a nice name to welcome the year of Dragon no?

Yum yummmms! Started of with Yee Sang of course! A not-to-miss on every chinese new year.
I'm not a yee sang person , hehehe but I still like to mix the yeesangs , we call it lou(mix) sang, and this one taste really good. Spot the crispy crispy stuffs.

#1 King Pu with Hokkaido Scallop Yee Sang

Yee sang usually consists of strips of raw fish (salmon), mixed with shredded vegetables and a variety of sauces and condiments. It is considered a symbol of abundance, prosperity and vigor. I already have 3 yeesangs so far. Make sure you have a lot of yee sang this year !

#2 Double-Boiled Shark's Fin Soup with Japanese Scallop and Fish Maw

Next up is this Shark's Fin soup. Its not the usual starchy/sticky ones that we have usually. This one taste so smooth and feels so healthy! You can see the shark's fins inside the soup!

#3 Deep-fried Crispy "Ying Yang" Chicken

I like this dish very much! Crispy at the first bite. I'm also a broccoli lover. HUHU!

#4 Braised Eight Headed Abalone with Black Moss, Dried Oyster and Cabbage

Abalone ! Nuff said. I still remember a friend of mine asked me " What is abalone? Is it expensive? What kind of fish it is?" . Hahahaha laugh die me.

The illusionist who will entertain you when you're having your meal. Really Impressive!!

#5 Steamed Estuary Garoupa with Shredded Ginger and Dried Fruit Peel

Then we have prawn. I'm not really a prawn person. More like I'm not a seafood person because I'm afraid of the un-fresh smell. But Tim die die want me to try this and it's not that bad! Very fresh and they like it very much. Haha!

#7 Claypot Rice with Waxed Duck and Mushroom

Usually when this arrive, I'll be so full that I wouldn't touch the rice , but I have to say the rice is not tasteless like the others that I tried before. And those red thing above are actually like lap cheong (chinese sausage).

#8 Chinese New Year Sweet Fancy Duet

Desserts! I could live with desserts forever! The yellow small thing taste exactly like mochi. And the brown thing over there? I thought its some malay kuih but it surprises me with its crispy outer layer and the next thing I know, it was NIAN GAO ! (年糕)

#9 Sweetened Lotus Paste with Lily Bulb and Glutinous Rice Dumpling

Then we have this thong shui and the balls which is like.... tong yuen? Sorry I really suck in translating chinese food names into english. Hahaha.

Just can't stand the chingchongchiang CNY music especially in the malls. Goshhhhhhh wish there is a whole year of Christmas songs lol.

But hey, one thing I like about Chinese New Year is their food! How can one miss Chinese New Year's signature dishes? Every year when CNY arrives, I smell awesome foods! My version of CNY symbolic recipes would be....

Omgosh I tell you, Overtime is opening more and more everywhere growing like mushrooms. -.-

We're greeted with fabulous looking crispy pork! To be honestly I think their pork could be done better, its just a little cold. But its nice when dipped into their chili sauce though.

Omg @ my sore throat God blessed me that night. Just how ironic when we're down with sore throat the more we wanna get fried stuffs. I even searched for fried chicken the next day. Uhhhhhhhh.

I'm a coffee person but not a coffee addict! Is coffee healthy? Well actually coffee has its pros and cons.
I've summarized it for you GUYS AND GIRLS. I love me.

The Good:
1. Coffee Reduces Your Risk of Diabetes/Alzheimer's Disease/Asthma/Kidney Stones formation
Noooooo don't go like "I'LL DRINK 6 CUPS OF COFFEE EVERY SINGLE DAY and my eyes will be sticking out like 'me gusta' cause I'll be too energetic".

Hahaha, try taking decaffeinated coffee, they pretty much work the same too :)

HAPPY 2012 NEW YEAR!!!!
Had a blasting celebration in Encorp Strand yesterday! Will talk about that in another post.

So, has 2011 treated you nicely?

Definitely, 2011 have been like a roller coaster to me for its ups and down, high and lows. Despite the challenges, I am blessed enough to have awesome people around me to remind and support me when I almost give up or when my anger management fail. Hahaha! 2011 had left me good, with the new experiences and priceless moments which allow me to be better and mature.

I will not start an emotional post right here on the first day of 2012 but hey, just look at how far you've grown! Either smarter/richer/prettier/taller/fatter/meaner/bitchier/ and the list goes on XD. New Year is all about getting another chance to be a better someone, reflecting ourselves to see if we've fulfilled and broken our 2011 resolutions, and NOW to give ourselves a fresh new chance to grow the way we want it to! That's is, my friend, the 2012 resolutions.

Some major 2012 resolutions of mine;

1. Get all the fats out from my body!

2. Behave less mean and be more kind xD

3. Reduce/lessen alcohol, smoke, fats, supper, infrared

4. Increase bank account value

5. Love/live like I'm gonna die tomorrow

6. 80% out of my 365 days have to be HAPPY.

7. Be a *good daughter/sister/granddaughter/girlfriend/bestfriend (and my definition of 'good' is subject to change HAHAHAA )
8. Spend more time with my family.
9. Know and stick to my priorities
10. Obey these resolutions.

Returns With A Bang for The Second Time This Year

Remember their first party? I was there with Carlsberg in Sepang Gold Coast. You can check it out here(click) . No doubt, it was the best party ever in my life. AND IF you have no idea what is 'Where's The Party', click the link again! Talk about free flows of beers,games, and performances with more than 2'000 people.

So,on last last Saturday (December 17, 2011) , “Where’s The Party?” by Carlsberg hosted another outstanding party for more than 2,000 party goers ! Of course, the trademark of 'Where's The Party' is by keeping the party location a secret and us party-goers curious! No venue/time/party details are revealed until a few days before. Glad to be invited to another high rated party courtesy of Malaysia's Hottest Bloggers and Carlsberg. :)

Our meet up point was in Stadium Shah Alam, settling our registration etc. From there, Carlsberg has provided buses to bring us to the secret place. All of us tried to guess the place when we're in the bus!

(Some of us manage to guess it right even before arriving thanks to ppl checked into Foursquare) We, in the media bus was treated so nicely by our assigned MC. Felt so pampered :3

So this time, the exclusive by-invitation only party was held at the very own Carlsberg Malaysia’s Brewery in Shah Alam!Surprise much? Partying in a Carlsberg beer factory do sound so good !

Hehehe. We then proceeded to the press conference where we're able to meet the line-up artists which includes Shawn Lee (beatbox) ,Dennis Lau (violin), Crossfire (band), Paperplane Pursuit (band), High on Heels (UK girl band), DJ Sophie Sugar (UK), DJ Hiloco (Japan). Damn, that was a long list of quality performers!

Can you imagine the feeling of partying with more than 2'000 people? That only happens with Carlsberg! We had an eclectic mix of exciting games, fun rides and free flow of Carlsberg beer.

This time around, the party's was themed 'amusement park', with ferris wheel, pirate ship and an adult carousel. Some other traditional fun fair booths also included Ring a Green, Toss & Score, Duck Hunt, ‘Our holes, Your balls’ & Wild Wild West. Made me feel like a little kid again!

Of course, we're provided with free flow of FOODS too!
Very funfair style ; Satays, Nasi Lemak, Nuggets, Burgers, Ice creams, and even cotton candy!

Of course, we play games to collect points in which we can redeem prizes in the end! Wonder how do they calculate 2,000 people's points?

Yes, with this thing!

All of us were assigned to our own, unique RFID (Radio-Frequency Identity) tags, which enabled us to collate points from the games we played and redeem prizes accordingly. These RFID tags were linked to our Facebook accounts and enabled us to update their Facebook status simply by scanning on the“Like” stations(like the above picture) throughout the brewery. Pretty cool !

Sky Ride!

The key highlight of the party was the Sky Ride, which gave us an exhilarating experience of being buoyed by a hot air balloon. Its a hot air balloon without any basket!!! Omg. We're also entertained by circus acts like the stilt walkers, uni-cyclists, jugglers and balloon sculptors!

Not forgetting stations like air-brush tattoo and fortune-teller but

I didn't get to go for it because the queue is too long!

When the sun goes down, we're entertained with performances by international DJs, renowned rappers, bands and musicians. I'm sure you guys are familiar with Dennis Lau and Shawn Lee, who presented an impressive combination of an electric violin and beat boxing!

Also, special group appearances by famous Korean star, Lee An, the unforgettably spontaneous star rapper of Carlsberg Malaysia, Mr Soren Ravn along with violinist Dennis Lau amazed the party crowd further! I didn't know Mr Soren can rap! @@

Crossfire , Paperplane Pursuit, and the world renowned girl band ‘High on Heels’ also entertained the crowd with non-stop music! We partied till close to 2am! All thanks to the international DJs Sophie Sugar from the UK and Hiloco from Japan.

(Btw, there are so many trucks of loklok waiting for us outside. Omg, didn't expect that, but thanks Carlsberg we can have free flow of loklok ! )

Their main objectives is to create memorable, inspiring moments and encouraging us to be bold and stepping up to do the right things. Now ‘That Calls for a Carlsberg!’” Carlsberg also encouraged all of us to enjoy responsibly. Never drink and drive! The best part is, Carlsberg has prepared MANY CABS for us just in case we can't drive. How considerate is that!
